The Surroundings

Located just minutes north of Deer Park, and just 20 miles north of Spokane, Rainbow Springs Ranch offers easy access to numerous year-round activities. Our area, in fact, is one of the few places in the country where you can the benefit from both the bustle of a metropolitan population of nearly 400,000 and the calm of rural forest lands in such close proximity.

There are many boating and fishing lakes within a 50-mile radius of our ranch, including eight within a 20-minute drive. Eloika Lake is just five minutes away and is noted for excellent bass fishing.

Mt. Spokane Skiers

Of course, the fun doesn't stop in the winter. While you can cross country ski and snowshoe right here at the ranch, you'll also be within short driving distance to some of the best ski resorts (we recommend Mt. Spokane Ski Park) and winter sports areas in Eastern Washington. Visit the third weekend of January and join our Deer Park Winter Festival, with snowshoe softball, our Frostbite Fun Run, outhouse races, fireworks and much more at the local Fairgrounds.

Spring, summer and fall activities offer something for almost everyone.

Deer Park Golf Club

Just a few of the local attractions include the 18-hole Deer Park Golf Club, the Deer Park Art Gallery, a farmer's market each Saturday and a variety of local parades and festivals. Nearby Swinyard Park offers a public swimming pool and a skate park that's popular with youngsters.

There's not much you won't find within a short distance from Rainbow Springs Ranch. Restaurants, parks, family entertainment, water and snow sports, hiking and biking - it's all right here in Deer Park, just waiting for you to enjoy!

Experience the Beauty

"Visiting our daughter in Elk, we were fortunate to find this perfect hideaway!  My husband enjoyed the fishing and I enjoyed a chance to read in a truly restful place. We will be sure to return when we return again to this part of the country.  Thank you for your hospitality."
